Portland-bandet The Dandy Warhols udgiver den 24. april sit nye album This Machine. Albummet er det ottende i rækken fra Courtney Taylor-Taylor og co. Størst succes har de uden tvivl haft med albummet Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia (2000), der indeholdte nummeret ”Bohemian Like You”, der fik en del rotationer på MTV.
Om albummet fortæller Courtney bl.a. følgende:
We’ve been told that its our gothiest. I thought it was our grungiest so I’m really hoping it’s a hit with goths who are, um, really outdoorsy?
Derudover fortæller han også, at det er “stripped down, woody and extremely guitar centric.”
